![]() I don't have much bad to say about the game, its really good for what it is but lets be real, its made by a very small team on a limited budget. The main thing holding it back is that it is quite limited in scope. The main thing holding it back is that it is quite limited in Castle Crashers is very fun and an incredible achievement for such a small team. It's also recommended to do this solo, so you get more loot and don't waste time battling for the princess.Castle Crashers is very fun and an incredible achievement for such a small team. This method is very quick and nets you about 150 gold per minute. Once your strength or magic is at a decent level, you can practically kill the boss within 3 seconds, spawning a treasure chest. If you need gold at any point in the game, the easiest level to farm loot is the Barbarian Boss level. There are too many to recommend at this point. Scroll through the weapons list and see if you find a better one. ![]() You should know which attributes you need and which ones you don't. Overall, the Falchion and Fencer's Foil are good options if you don't want any attributes to be taken away.įrom level 15 onwards, I'm pretty sure you've got your own playstyle going on. And if you don't care for magic, the Pumpkin Peeler is a solid option. For magic, the Staff is good if you've got defence to spare. If you don't care for agility, the Clunky Mace and Zigzag are great options. Most weapons will give a big boost for one stat, while taking away from another. If you don't care for magic, the Half Sword might be good for the extra defence.Īt level 10, a lot of good weapons become available. If you're a magic player, the Leaf is a viable option. You can stick with your first one.Īt level 5, I'd recommend the Carrot overall, because it doesn't have any negative attributes and offers a strength and defence boost. A full list of weapons and their locations can be found on the Miscellaneous page.Īt level 1, your weapon doesn't really matter. When you start to upgrade your character, it'll come in handy to compensate for certain attributes by picking a specific weapon and Animal Orb like described in the strategies above. I recommend you pick a weapon that doesn't give any negative attributes until you find a good one. He was lacking because of all his strength upgrades after all.īoth strategies work well, though the second one takes effect earlier on and relies more on skill.Įarlier on, you can basically use any weapon. My friend ended up using Spiny though, because he needed the extra defence. Just like in the first strategy, the Clunky Mace is an amazing weapon, with Snoot being a solid option to increase your damage. This, contrary to me who spent most of my points on magic, because magic doesn't last long enough to deal a lot of damage early on. As a result, my friend leveled up super quickly because he simply dealt way more damage than me because of his strength stat. As you may know, you gain xp in this game based on your damage, not your kills. You see, my friend liked to juggle enemies and got quite good at those crazy air combos. ![]() This worked out better than I thought, making him a powerhouse early on. My friend decided to ditch magic completely and only upgrade strength and defence. Strategy 2 - this is the one my friend used. So you can either balance it out, with +5 attack from the Clunky Mace and +4 defence from Spiny, or go for a huge +9 strength boost, alternating your upgrades between defence and magic only. Alternatively, you could buy Spiny from the Volcano Store as well. It's up to you which one is more important. With +9 strength, you only have to worry about upgrading your magic and defence. ![]() The only downside to this weapon is that it removes -2 agility, but since we don't upgrade that stat anyways, this weapon is amazing. Then, when you unlock the Volcano store, buy the Clunky Mace, this weapon gives you +5 strength, which is another big boost. Snoot gives you +4 strength, which is a big boost to your base damage. As for weapons and animal orbs, this is the way to go - the first animal orb you should go for is Snoot, which is obtainable in the Cyclops' Fortress. You should ignore agility completely, because you're not going to use your bow. Get to a magic upgrade, then pump a few points into strength or defence on the next level-up, preferably defence. As a magic player, I focused most of my points into magic early on, with the occasional strength and defence upgrade to be able to advance smoothly. However, my advice would be to take either one of the following two strategies. Honestly, you can upgrade whatever you want and be fine with it.
